The Eternal Word Television Network became a resource to instruction of the Eternal Word and this I will tell you became a part of my decision as a young adolescent teenage female who was receiving instruction from my decision to be confirmed in the Roman Catholic Church. What do you agree with as a Confirmed Roman Catholic at 14 years old and still learning? The prayers of the faithful and my communion with the decision became a SEAL of my Heart and Scripture became the WORD that fired and delivered the spark of a lifetime of decisions from this day, May 29, 1993, the day I was confirmed by the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Bernardino by a legitimate Bishop who was approved by the Bishop of Rome.
Confirmation gave the spark of FIRE and the FIRE became ablazed by the zeal of youth! It is truth I seek and TRUTH ALONE that will heal me.
I desired TRUTH as a young individual and I knew it was VERITAS that would be delivered through EDUCATION and STUDY!
I loved to study and wanted to learn. The Eternal Word Television Network was television. As a young person this was entertainment and a recreational need in the year 1994. Television was everything in the domestic home. Television was every part of my life as a child and now a teenager with her own television and bedroom; I made decisions of how to utilize the resource television as a young adolescent. Television was now my decision. And I decided EWTN as a teenager.
I saw this program from EWTN and Mother Angelica as a teenager and I purchased my first Bible as a young adult with my own allowance money. I decided to study the Bible.
