O Come O Come, Emmanuel, First Sunday of Advent
St. John XXIII, Rialto, California Diocese of San Bernardino First Sunday of Advent, Bulleting |
I am finding these Liturgical Seasons similar to these School System Holidays in the United States of America. And the System is delivered only well with a relationship. Ordered and Cherished.
How do Americans celebrate these calendar established dates for vacation and seasonal expectations? The decision to shop after a day of Turkey and Pasta for Thanksgiving leads to Holiday shopping for giving. And how does the Liturgical Season of Holy Mass deliver the Ordered grace of Cherished Charity to our Neighbor? Peace on Earth.
I will not down the determined conditions of an Economy of Supply and Demand. I am grateful for purchasing a pair of shoes at a cost worth my determined budget on a day after Thanksgiving. The stock is supplying me the demand and I need the new pair of shoes. But to beat the bust, only determines less peace in the shopping experience.
In the Roman Catholic Church, there is a longing that desires PEACE from the materialism of commercial holiday decrees. This longing is to leave the commercialism of a SOLEMNITY OF NATIVITY we believe is the BIRTH OF A CHILD!
This CHILD!
A CHILD!
Today, abortion kills and murders children. And to leave the reasoning of persons who direct this murder of children is a war within a war. This war is in a house, a home and a family. Families do not have children alive. They are dead.
